eduClipper + Edmodo = Teacher happiness

As Erin Klein notes, eduClipper is what Pinterest would be if it were invented by educators. We’ve got a lot of our teachers using Pinterest in their personal and professional lives. With eduClipper they can turn their students loose on the task of resource curation.

Edmodo is one of the most popular tools available to teachers to create online communities with their students. Some of our districts are using Edmodo to facilitate rich learning experiences, all within a safe, so-called ‘walled garden’ online space. Edmodo also has wonderful teacher-to-teacher communities where a lot of professional learning occurs.

Now you can combine these two tools together with the eduClipper app for Edmodo, giving your students the ability to have an eduClipper account WITHIN Edmodo with one click of a button. If you’re a teacher using Edmodo, I think this is probably a must-have app.

Finally, just for fun, I’ve also included in this post the recent mind-blowing ISTE keynote by Adam Bellow (creator of eduClipper). It’s long (Adam starts at 23:17) but oh so worth your time. Happy viewing!
