“The air of ideas is the only air worth breathing.” –Edith Wharton
I am a writer. I gather ideas to write from the world around me. I have been known to scribble poems on napkins, on church bulletins, on inside covers of books…My ideas are inspired from the idea of another.
The power in sharing ideas has proven quite popular. For example, Pinterest is used by teachers, future brides, crafters, chefs, home renovators, fashion followers, designers…the list goes on and on and on. Ideas are shared on Twitter feeds-a few of my favorites: #iaedchat #engchat #sschat #edchat. Ideas are spread on blogs and collected using resources like Feedly.
An idea can inspire more ideas. I encourage you to consider how you nourish your need for ideas, and how you are connecting students to an idea buffet.
